Bash 101: How to be there and do that!

 How do I get to the dance? Where is Kenmore?
The Kenmore Community Club is at
7304 NE 175th St., Kenmore on the North end of Lake Washington between
Lake City and Bothell. Coming from the north, there's easy access off I-5
via WA-104 and coming from the south, it's 5 minutes
 off
I-405 in Kirkland.
Click
for directions. Built in 1931, this landmark
is restored to its former glory with the original
wood plank dance floor. There's plenty of well-lighted parking outside.
I
don't
have a date. Can I come alone or with a buddy?
Of course!
Many women and men come solo to our dances, or with a same-sex pal. By the end of the night
you're sure to make many new friends! See comments from some first-timers.
Remember, because you're
at a size-friendly event, open ONLY to our members & guests, there's no
reason to feel shy or self-conscious.
Can
I get a ride to the event ... or offer a carpool?
Yes! One
of the best and friendliest ways to make a connection before our dance is
to carpool. (Especially with the price of gas!) Just post your request or
offer on our message board. There you'll find others who can either offer
a ride or are looking for one as well as those from out of town looking to share a hotel room.
 Who
usually attends BBWNorthwest.com bashes?
Hundreds of fun-loving guys and gals
of all shapes, sizes and ages from across Western Washington, British
Columbia and Oregon! Most members are between 25 and 50, and seeking new friends. Both singles
and couples attend. Our members are fun, friendly and outgoing who love
meeting new people and making everyone
a welcome part of the
fun!
What
if it's my first time at a BBWNorthwest event?
You may choose to sit at our "Newbie Tables" for an extra special
welcome from our staff and members. They're the best seats in the house!
 What
will people be wearing?
To dress for this event's
theme, come dressed for the islands! Hawaiian shirts, shorts, swimwear and
beach wear are in style. This is a casual event, so come comfy or dress to
impress and you'll be welcome in just about whatever you wear.
IMPORTANT!
We
are committed to maintaining a "PG-rated" environment for the safety and
comfort of our guests. Our guideline is that no body parts can be shown
that can't be seen on primetime network TV.
If we receive complaints about overly revealing clothing, nudity, lewd advances,
or overt sexual behavior on the premises or parking area, it can result in
the immediate ejection of the offending party without refund. Thank you
for your cooperation.
